About Us

About MUAST

Marondera University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (MUAST) was established through an Act (Chapter 25:29) of Parliament in 2015 and its mandate is Agricultural Sciences and Technology. It is the only fully fledged Agricultural University in Zimbabwe. MUAST operates from three campuses namely, Dozmery Campus, which is about 40 km from Marondera town, Cold Storage Commission (CSC) Campus in Marondera town, and Marondera Campus.

Vision - To be a leading Academic Institution in the provision of Technology driven Sustainable Agricultural solutions and Entrepreneurship at National and International level.

Mission - To produce competent, skilled and knowledgeable graduates, transforming Agricultural communities and industries through Innovative Teaching and Learning, Research, University Service, Innovation and Industrialisation.
