Admission Requirements

  • For admission to a 4-5 year degree programme of study at MUAST, an applicant must have the following qualifications in the ZIMSEC/CAMBRIDGE examinations or equivalent: - Passed five (5) 'O' Level subjects including English Language and Mathematics and 2'A'Level passes in relevant subjects. Or A Diploma in the relevant field from a recognised institution and should have attained an overall grade of Merit or better, or any approved equivalent and 5 years post-qualification experience. Diploma applicants may be exempted from the 1-year attachment

The Bridging programme prepares students without traditional qualifications for entry and academic success in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) Undergraduate Degree Programmes. It also targets students wishing to change specializations.

Upon successful completion, students can enroll in relevant Undergraduate Degree Programmes at Marondera University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (MUAST).

A qualification relevant for university entry in their country of origin.

  • Applicants must be at least 25 years for males and 23 years for females, further to the 5 'O' level requirements on the first day of the academic year in which admission is sought. The candidate should demonstrate potential for suitability to university by virtue of their attainment of relevant work experience.
