The Institute’s main function is to offer university-wide courses that include Communication Skills, Statistics and Heritage Studies. The first two courses are already being offered to all students at different levels of study. The other role of the Institute is to foster a culture of excellence in University teaching and learning through seminars for all staff that are aimed at setting the parameters for ensuring quality teaching, learning and the student experience at MUAST.
