
MUAST DPhil student in Plant Breeding secures funding
Marondera University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology student, Mativavarira Munyaradzi, secured funding from the International Plant Breeding Organization (IPBO) from Gent University in Belgium.
Munyaradzi is a DPhil student in the Crop Science department specializing in Plant Breeding and Seed systems under the African Indigenous Vegetables (AIV) project. The Short Research Stays (SRS) programme’s objective is to promote the mobility and exchange of early-career scientists, including PhD students, between partners across continents and institutions.
