Ida Wokwako Old Peoples Home is a welfare organisation which is wholly owned by Christian Marching Church. The institution started operating in 1977 and has a holding capacity of 56 residents. The home offers residential accommodation to the aged above the age of 65 years. The institution also accepts children from orphanages who are disabled or have no relatives, as the Zimbabwean law does not provide for children over the age of 18.
