HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’ S DAY

MUAST joins the rest of the world in celebrating International Women’s day which traditionally is celebrated on 8 March. International Women’s Day has been observed since it began in 1911 to date. The theme for International Women’s Day this year is, “Women in leadership: Achieving an equal future in a COVID-19 world”. It helps celebrate the tremendous efforts by women and girls around the world in shaping a more equal future and recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic and highlights the gaps that remain.
