Overview:
The department offers a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Agribusiness and Management. The degree programme’s focus is on the vertical integration of agribusiness and trade equipping the students with the skills to examine domestic and global consumer interests and how they impact the demand for food and agriculture products. Its graduates can assume leading roles of public and private commerce of agricultural and agro-business sectors.

Program Overview:
The degree program is designed to provide students with an understanding of the key concepts and processes involved in starting and managing new ventures in an agricultural or food business, including conceptualization, development and management of successful new ventures.It combines rigour with relevance as all students will complete a project in the agri-food industry, thus providing an opportunity to apply the concepts acquired in the classroom. Based on a hands-on learning process involving entrepreneurs, start-ups, and transdisciplinary teams in a clinical setting, students learn how to look at new ideas and figure out the steps necessary to commercialize them.

2 A‟ Level passes including any of the following subjects: Mathematics, Economics, Accounting, Management of Business, Geography, Agriculture or any other related subject or applicants with relevant Diploma from a recognized institution and should have attained an overall grade of Merit or better.
