Sergent John Mbano Appointed Acting Chief Security Officer
Sgt Mbano has been appointed as the Acting Chief Security Officer. Sgt Mbano joined MUAST long back, when it was still called University of Zimbabwe Marondera College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (UZMCAST) in January 2012 as a Security Sergent in charge of a Crack Team.

MUAST Student Representative Council (SRC) members officially took oath on the 21st of November 2021 at the CSC campus. The inauguration was aimed at filling in the missing positions for the President, Vice-President, Secretary for Academic Affairs and Secretary for Resident and Non-Resident Students. The 1st inauguration which had missing positions took place on the 2nd of July 2021.

MUAST took part in National AIDS Council (NAC) workshop
MUAST took part in the National AIDS Council (NAC) workshop held at Flamboyant Regency Hotel in Masvingo from the 20th to the 25th of September 2021.
The workshop was aimed at casting all misconceptions on youths and young people taking contraceptives. It also covered issues of Sexual Reproductive Health (SRH)
